| Middle Caicos, Turks & Caicos Islands, British West Indies -
the Caribbean Middle Caicos is the largest island of the Turks & Caicos Islands, 48 square miles, and has the smallest population, only 271 people. There are 3 villages: Conch Bar, where 52 families live, Bambarra, with 21 families and Lorimers with only 6 families. We come to Doris Robinson school everyday by bus - which looks like your family van. The longest ride is from Lorimers which is 15 miles from Conch Bar. |

| Who
Are We?
The teachers have their own room where they can get away from us. They have a kitchen in there.
We wear uniforms to school, they look like this:

| What do we do? This is our really cool playground that was just built by donations and volunteers.
Every year our school has a Christmas pageant where we put on a play and do recitations.
One time a famous musician came to visit us and played his viola
We like to play instruments too!
We have a band. Teddy Stewart, the local police man, is our instructor. He gave us some of the instruments, other's came from various donators.
Our favorite class is computers. We have 7 computers now. We will be rearranging this room soon so we can add the other machines (not in the picture)
"Mama" is our computer teacher. She volunteers all of her time with us. She is a special person on this planet and we love all the things she teaches us. You can see our work by clicking here Every year we look forward to our graduation ceremony. At the end of our 6th year at Doris Robinson Primary we take an exam. If we pass, we continue onto high school. Since there is no high school on Middle Caicos, we leave our homes and move to either the islands of Grand Turk, North Caicos or Providenciales.
